At Finca Inmaculada the Holguin family has established a specialty farm like no other. A farm where the family has cultivated specialty varietals like Sudan Rume, Laurina, Geisha and most notably Eugenoides since 2010. 

Inmaculada has accrued international fame through many years by producing innovating processing technologies together with world renown barista champions but only recently it was when they broke the record of winning both the 2021 World Barista Championships 1st, 2nd and 3rd place alongside World Brewers Cup 1st place.

For us this is the first year of working together with Inmaculada and their coffees. We visited the farm in March 2022 and tasted their new Fellows Farms project we immediately decided to bring this coffee to market. 

What we like about Inmaculada is their meticulous attention to detail throughout the whole cycle of coffee processing, from picking to drying. For the Geisha we ordered from Inmaculada we went with one of their Signature lineup of Geishas. For us when we cupped this Geisha it demonstrated how well Inmaculada can control their drying and truly bring out the delicate nuances of their coffees. Notes we experienced on the cupping table were akin to peach ice tea with lemon with equal mouthfeel and texture. This profile really reminded us of the Panamanian Geishas with their complexity and delicacy. It is even more impressive when you realise that this coffee was processed as a natural.
